What SupportDesk Helper does
SupportDesk Helper helps ecommerce teams manage customer support tickets, store support policies, draft customer replies, track follow-ups, and use verified order context when Shopify is connected.
Data we may process
We may process workspace and store information, support tickets, customer names, customer email addresses, order numbers entered into tickets or forms, support messages, attachments, saved policies, billing status, plan information, and Shopify order details when a workspace connects Shopify.
Shopify access
When Shopify is connected, SupportDesk Helper uses read-only order access to help support teams understand order status, fulfillment status, tracking details when available, items ordered, and related order context. SupportDesk Helper does not edit Shopify orders, refunds, products, fulfillments, payments, or customer records.
How we use data
We use data to provide support ticket management, customer conversation history, reply drafting, policy-based support guidance, notifications, follow-up tracking, billing status, and Shopify order context. We do not use customer support data to sell advertising.
Data sharing
We do not sell customer data. We may use service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, billing, app operations, and AI-assisted reply drafting. These providers are used only to operate and improve SupportDesk Helper.
Data retention
Workspace, ticket, policy, and support data is generally kept while the workspace or account is active, unless deletion is requested or required. Some billing, security, or operational records may be kept as needed for legal, accounting, or service reliability reasons.
Shopify privacy webhooks
SupportDesk Helper supports Shopify privacy webhook routes for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction. These correspond to Shopify's customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact privacy requirements.
